Expectations in JC

The junior college syllabus will basically take what students have learnt in secondary school as a foundation and will go in depth into the subject itself. Junior Colleges equip students with the skills and knowledge to prepare themselves for a university education.  The way things are taught in junior college is also different from that of secondary school.  In Junior College, there will be more emphasis placed on application-based learning as well as thinking and problem-solving skills.

In terms of lesson structures. It is similar to a university as it involves lectures and tutorials. The point of these lectures is to go through contents whilst for tutorials, is when students are able to clarify any questions or concepts.
