Hear what our students are saying about us
We welcome all our students to comment on how we have guided them to their expected results and success.
Here’s what some of them had to say
about our tutors and programmes.
I joined Mr Rick’s IP Math class in Sec 2 after doing badly for my mid-year exams. He really helped me work on my foundations in Math and I practised a lot to prepare for the EOY. And we succeeded. I was really happy to get my first A for Math back then.
Thereafter, I continued to do well throughout Sec 3 and Sec 4. Mr Rick always made sure I was well prepared for each test and each exam.
During my 2 years at VJC, I also did well for most tests and I aced the Promo as well. And I achieved one of the highest scores in the school for my JC 2 mid-year exams. It was quite a personal achievement for myself.
Glad I chose the right centre!

Ms Ku is an amazing teacher. Whenever I could not finish my work or do not understand a question, she would stay back with me after class and patiently explain to me and teach me. She strongly encourages me to ask questions to ensure that I fully understand the question and solution. Her teachings have helped me to score straight A(s) for Math.

Coach Yi Pei is a very approachable and helpful tutor and plays a big part in helping me achieve the grades I have today. She never fails to clear all my doubts and queries that I have compiled for each lesson. Her lesson styles are very flexible and could act as interactive consultation sessions, or lecture styled lessons where she emphasizes the important concepts.
She is also very skilled and experienced as she teaches useful tips that come in handy for me. Being very caring, she pays special attention to every student. It is a two-way interaction between tutor and student, and I find her guidance very helpful. I am very thankful for meeting such a nice coach through Aspire Hub.

Being a student councillor takes up a lot of my time. Going to tuition with Mr Rick helps me catch up with whatever I missed during school.
I am able to prepare well for my tutorials and tests. The lesson is fun and it helps that I have many of my friends here with me for tuition.

When I joined John’s classes at the start of Secondary One, I was in the Integrated Programme track in my school, so it was challenging and tough for me at first. I was struggling to cope with the pace and difficulty of lessons. However, with John’s help, I was able to turn things around and I started to improve.
John was able to provide me with the necessary resources so I could understand concepts with ease. I was also able to tackle advanced Mathematics problems and John also helped me with my schoolwork. I was able to keep up with the lessons in school and I even learnt ahead of the school syllabus. With John’s patience and guidance, along with his friendly attitude, I was able to enjoy learning.

The Aspire Hub learning experience has helped me achieve my goals by providing a conducive environment for learning alongside an awesome tutor that gives a lot of care and guidance, making lessons really enjoyable and memorable. Having such a tutor such as Jon Lim allows the boundary for learning to widen as he teaches me more than just Math, such as life lessons.
Thus, I would never feel intimidated to ask questions when I have doubts, which in turn allows my learning to be more productive, hence achieving my goals.

I first joined Aspire Hub when I was in Secondary Three. My math grades were hovering between C5 and B4 since Secondary One. However, under the guidance of teacher Victoria, my grades gradually improved.
Teacher Victoria is a passionate and amiable teacher who constantly encourages her students not to give up and try their best to score good grades. She provided me with enough materials to aid in my revision and when I had trouble answering a question, she would patiently explain how to work out the solution and made sure that I understood what she meant by giving me extra practices to attempt. I vividly remember how she answered all my queries on WhatsApp the day before the A-Math O Level examination even till late at night and gave me some pointers to take note of when answering certain types of questions so that I would not be so anxious about the paper.
Thanks to her unfailing guidance and support, I was able to score good grades for O Level. She is definitely an epitome of a great teacher!

John Lee is probably the best Math Teacher a normal student like me could ever have. He is extremely supportive of me. His clear-cut explanations for difficult and complicated Mathematical concepts made A / E Math easier to comprehend. Not only did he encourage his students time and time again to start studying early, He also made the effort to give us study tips to excel in our O Levels.
Even though I was lazy and unwilling to do the Math worksheets he gave me, he continued to spur me on and help me in Math whenever needed. With his persistence and coaching, I was able to obtain A1 for both my A and E Math.

Miss Rico is a loving and caring teacher that teaches whole heartedly. With each and every lesson being planned out full of passion and commitment, she teaches and ensures that we fully understand the Chemistry concepts of a chapter before moving on to the next.
Miss Rico not only cares for our academic performances but also our personal well-being as she would always care for a student’s personal life and also teaches us moral values that are usually not taught by other teachers in schools. During exam periods, she does not mind having to mark the extra work that we hand in as practice for exams and willingly gives extra classes to us which helps us even more when we need the additional aid.
Miss Rico is truly an amazing teacher that provides an all rounded education for her students and helps them unleash their fullest potential in Chemistry as how she did for me.

My result for English was poor at the start at P6 (2013) getting from low 20’s to 60’s. I was more interested in Math at that time. I was introduced to Aspire Hub after my CA1. Though English was one of the subjects that I dread at the start of the year, the engaging lessons and helpful teachers brought back my interest and today, I am in Nan Hua High the 10th SAP school in Singapore. Thank you Aspire Hub!

Coach Ruo Xuan has guided me tremendously in my P6 Mathematics approach and certainly helped me to connect the dots more systematically in the right Mathematics concept. Without her help, I would not have been able to achieve such a high grade. Therefore, I definitely recommend this class.

Under Jon Lim’s guidance, I manage to improve my results tremendously. My Science, Math and Additional Math improved from failures to A2s. This was all made possible due to Jon’s undying effort in teaching me along the way. I am glad I chose Aspire Hub for my tuition, the best tuition centre for me!
